Overview
Type K Double Pole 50kA - S800 Series
The ABB S800 series high-performance automatic circuit breakers set a new standard of excellence, thanks to their high current rating, breaking capacity, selectivity and safety features. They are the ideal solution for protecting your systems. Compact design, excellent current limitation and circuit breaker position indicators are just some of the characteristics that make this series highly flexible and functional. In addition, customers can select between cage or ring terminals and can chose from a wide range of accessories. Type K characteristics have been specifically designed for the protection of motor control circuits and items used within them. It has a very sensitive thermal curve, combined with a magnetic setting of 8 times the normal input current, which is high enough to avoid in-rush nuisance tripping, but provides good protection against over current conditions.
